Mini Fringer's Funday is held in Ventnor Park, Park Avenue, Ventnor, PO38 1LB Ventnor Park – An award-winning park for the people 

Doors open at 10.00am. 

Where can I park?

We encourage visitors to arrive on foot, get dropped off or use public transport where possible. Parking is very limited along Park Avenue itself so if driving we recommend parking in La Falaise or Grove Car Park. There are also additional car parks in Ventnor town centre. 

La Falaise is at the western end of Ventnor seafront (about 10 mins walk away) Head up Bath road (very steep) then turn left at top into Park Avenue, event is 5 mins on your left.  La Falaise - Car Park (parkopedia.co.uk)

The Grove car park is behind St Catherine's church, then walk along Belgrave road, past The Royal Hotel and into Park Avenue. It's about a 10 min walk and is flat. Isle Of Wight Council - Car Park (parkopedia.co.uk) 

What precautions are in place for Covid?

While it's good news that rules are now lifted, will ensure our event is as still as safe as possible. There will be cleaning undertaken throughout the day and hand sanitiser available, we will remove the sides of tents so that there is lots of air circulating and we have removed any close contact activities such as children's ball pits and bouncy castles. We kindly request you to test yourselves prior to the event and if you do test positive or have any symptoms please do not attend the event. We will issue refunds to anyone who tests positive and is unable to attend. 

What food is available?

In the main area there is the putting green cafe which sells sandwiches, cakes, ice cream and drinks. There is also a stall selling fudge and candy floss. At the western end of the park there is the Stripped burger van, selling delicious burgers, fries and vege burgers. There is also a bar, and coffee outlet selling artisan hot chocolate, kids juices and home made cake. We also have an ice cream van on site. 

Can I bring along my own food and drink?

You are welcome to bring along food, chairs and blankets. There will be a bar and some food outlets in the park so we always encourage you to buy from our lovely traders!  

Are there toilets?

Yes there are portable toilets on site and there are also public toilets in the main park. 

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available through the Box Office as part of Ventnor Fringe. You can use the link on this site to buy tickets online or visit Ventnor Exchange in person. Please note you can not buy tickets on the day. 

Do I have to pay for children?

Children will need a ticket but babes in arms are free of charge.

Will I have to pay extra for the other activities?

All workshops and activities will be free of charge, although our artists may always appreciate a small donation. Food and drink and will be charged in addition and there will be stalls selling items. 

Will we be able to meet Andy Day after the show?

Andy will be doing a controlled meet and greet after the second show, although we can not guarantee a photo we will do our best to let everyone meet him who wishes to.
